Service Description
*This treatment MUST have consent from GP/midwife/consultant etc to confirm you are suitable for pregnancy massage treatment. You MUST be past your first trimester (12weeks+)* Description: Pregnancy massage uses long, stroking movements where the client is positioned on either side throughout the treatment. This treatment works on the layers of fascia and muscle to ease tension and knots, specifically on areas under stress from carrying the weight of a baby. There will be specific pillows on the treatment touch to support mother & bump, and additional pillows available upon request. Benefits: Removes tension, knots, aches and pains. Encourages blood flow and aides circulation. Using light/medium pressure, focusing on areas requested. You may be asked to lie on your back during a full body massage, the treatment couch is able to be positioned to almost sitting, where this is not possible. Alternatively, please make me aware if you’d like to skip or modify this point of the massage. Includes: - Application of massage oil - Pregnancy massage - 30 minutes = back, neck and shoulders only - 45 minutes = back neck and shoulders only, or add one other area - 60 minutes = full body (or specified areas) - 75 minutes = full body including head massage - 90 minutes = full body including head massage with focus on specific areas of tension Suitable for vegans: Yes Suitable in pregnancy: Yes (must have consent from pregnancy consultant etc) Suitable while breastfeeding: Yes Suitable for under 18s: Yes (must be accompanied by parent/guardian to sign consent form) Available in a package: No
Cancellation Policy
A non-refundable booking fee is required for all of our treatments, to be paid at the time of booking. Your appointment slot will not be secured until this has been paid. Booking fees are non-refundable with less than 48hours notice, and can be transferred to a new appointment when more than 48hours notice has been given (a maximum of 1 time). In the case that an appointment is missed, with no notice, you will not be able to book any further treatment until 50% of the missed treatment price has been paid.
